WiP Wednesday - Superman edition

Happy WiP Wednesday!

Now that school is out for the summer I feel like such a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I don't have to rush to meet the school bus and I don't have to pack any lunches. Yeah! 10 weeks off! That makes me so happy.

I was able to finish the Batman side of the Superhero quilt. I think it turned out pretty cute.

I'm working on the Superman side now. This side is a little more tedious but I'm lovin' it so far. I think I like it because I like Superman better than I do Batman. Batman kind of gets on my nerves. You know, 'cause he's real and all.

I was able to sew a lot yesterday. I was really on a roll. Call me butter 'cause I'm on a roll! I think I said that to myself about 100 times while I was sewing yesterday. Things were just clicking along.

I can't wait to finish this and I hope it turns out the way I have it pictured in my head. I'm going to put one big fussy cut square of Superman himself right in the middle. I think it will be so cute!

I'm linking up to Lee who has a guest blogger today. Wip Wednesday is over at Don't Call Me Betsy this week. I see she is starting a quiltalong that I need to go check out! Might be my next new project.

Love it! I feel some inspiration to get my butt in the basement to get sewing! Oh, I got my laptop back last night. Woohoo! I can't wait to see Superman. He's cuter anyway!

So fun!! If my 3-year-old spots this quilt, he is absolutely going to demand a superhero quilt of his own!! What a cute idea :) Thanks for linking up with WIP Wednesday!

This is so cool! I know I told you this before, but my son would flip out over this! You're going to make a kid very very happy.
