The perfect BOM for 2013

Gen X Quilters Sisters' Ten BOM

I haven't joined a BOM in a long time and I just don't think I can resist this one sponsored by Gen X Quilters.  The layout is so appealing to me because it uses traditional type blocks made out of modern fabrics.  I love the white space going diagonally through the center of the top.  I think I will have to break out my stash of Denyse Schmidt fabrics that were sold at JoAnns for this one.  I've been waiting for the perfect project to use those fabrics and this fits the project perfectly.

I'm in!

Oh how I love a Half-Square Triangle.  I'm excited to see that Jeni, one of my favorite bloggers is hosting a HST block of the month for 2012.  Each month she will provide a tutorial for a traditional quilt block using HSTs.  I'm loving it!  I am planning to use fabric from my stash so that will be a good little stash buster.

Won't that be fun?
